What is the Adopt A Soldier Program?

There are 6,300 lone soldiers in the IDF. By definition, a “lone soldier” is a boy or girl who chooses to serve in the IDF from outside Israel, or one without parental/monetary support. Chayal el Chayal is a home which caters to these lone soldiers year round. For those who leave their families to join the army, they often have no place to stay, no relatives nearby and no one to help them out when they arrive in Israel. From the moment they land we are by their side, supplying them with room, board and all the resources they need. Chayal el Chayal becomes their home, their family, and their backbone, giving them support and the necessary material and spiritual guidance they need. There is no charge for the lone soldiers. Chayal el Chayal is a non-profit organization that relies solely on donations to continue and achieve their mission. Make a difference!
