“We Always Keep the Light On…..”

Chayal el Chayal is the address that many lone soldiers simply know as “home”. Whether they want to grab a bite, chill with friends or need a place to sleep, they know where they are always welcome.

Chayal el Chayal has 4 homes in the center of Jerusalem, three of them a short walk from Shuk Machane Yehudah.  Pre-drafting soldiers often arrive in Israel and need a place to stay while looking for an apartment. We make the transition easier. We offer two weeks of free lodging, and longer for a small fee. We also have some rooms we rent out to soldiers, at a very affordable rate.

Any soldier who gets off base for the weekend or during the week knows he or she  has a place to stay in a safe, family environment.
